20 held while going to India illegally

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained 20 Bangladeshi nationals while they were going to India illegally through Putkhali border in Benapole on Wednesday night.

The border guards, acting on a tip-off, raided the area at around 10:00pm and arrested 14 men, five women and a child as they were going to India without legal documents, said Jalal Uddin, Putkhali BGB camp commander.
