1.68 lakh cow fattening pills seized

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) seized around 1.68 lakh cow fattening pills from Hili border area in Hakimpur upazila of the district on Monday.

Subedar Abdul Mannan of Basudevpur Camp at Hili Border said, being tipped-off, a team of BGB raided Moharapara village in the upazila early Monday and seized the tablets which were brought into Bangladesh from India.

The market value of the seized tablets is worth around Tk 51 lakh, BGB officials said.
