If both of these parties truly wanted reforms and also wanted to gain people's trust, one would have severed ties with a fanatical organization that abuses the name of a religion, while the other would have reined in its out-of-control student wing and not resort to cheating. However, since they never did any of these things, chances are, their ego will prevent them from ever doing it.
