A tailor was killed with his scissors by his neighbour over a trifle matter in Double Mooring area of Chittagong city yesterday.

Solaiman, 25, worker of Sumaya Tailors, slapped a boy as he hurled a stone at the glass wall of the shop.

At this the boy's father Nur Hossain, started a brawl with Solaiman and stabbed him in his chest.

Solaiman was declared dead at Chittagong Medical College hospital. Locals detained Nur and handed him over to police.
