Six ‘muggers’ arrested with arms

Chittagong police claimed to have arrested six muggers with a locally-made gun, two cartridges, a dagger and machete in Polo Ground area in the city yesterday.

They are Shahidul Islam Jisan, 23, Md Khokan, 22, Rabiul Hossain Mamun, 22, Lyek Hossain Hridoy, 20, Ibrahim Khalilullah, 24, and Md Junaid, 20, said Mohammed Mohsin, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station.
