Robber suspects held in Narsingdi JMB men: cops

Police yesterday in a press briefing claimed that five persons who were recently held from Bashail in Narsingdi town over allegations of robbery, are operatives of banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

Alamgir, Md Anil alias Fazlul Haque, Kabir Hossain, Jewel, and Shahin were held on September 8.

When the five were taken on remand, they conceded that they were JMB operatives and were plotting robbery to collect funds to bear their expenses, claimed Superintendent of Police of Narsingdi Amena Begum.
