Road crashes kill 3, hurt 15

Three people were killed and 15 others injured in road accidents in two districts yesterday.

In Bogra, two people were killed and six others injured when a bus rammed a battery-run auto-rickshaw carrying them at Shantahar municipality rail-intersection on Bogra-Noagaon road in Adamdighi upazila.

The deceased were Rokeya Bewya, 61, and Rabeya Bewya, 55, of Choto Akhira village. They were going to attend a marriage ceremony.

In Thakurgaon Sadar, at least nine people were injured when a bus hit a three-wheeler while overtaking it on Panchagarh-Dhaka highway in Kochubari village.

Meanwhile in Panchagarh Sadar, Hridoy, 06, son of Latiful Karim was killed when a tractor ran him over while he was playing on the bank of the Karatoa River at Ramerdanga.
