Rajshahi gas cylinder blast burns 4

Four people were injured in a gas cylinder explosion at Rajshahi Cadet College during the institution's annual sports yesterday.

College staff Waheduzzaman, 30, Monjur Rahman, 28, and gas balloon sellers Robiul Islam, 45, and Selim Hossain, 40, were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital. The incident occurred when balloons for the programme were being filled with gas in a tin-roofed room, said acting principal Hedayetun Nabi.
