For generation of 2,400 megawatt from two units of nuclear power plants in December 2015, Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission and Russian firm Rosatom signed a $12.65 billion loan agreement.
The planning ministry proposal said the first plant will come into operation in 2022 and another in 2023.
