Obituary

Mohammad Golam Moula, 72, father of late Shayera Moula, former employee of The Daily Star, died yesterday morning at the capital's Metropolitan Hospital.

He suffered a heart attack and breathed his last only three months after the death of his 29-year-old daughter Shayera who was a vibrant feature writer and an interviewer.

Golam Moula worked at the foreign ministry and retired in 2002. He left behind his wife and a son.
