Workshop on mobile journalism held at RU

A daylong workshop on mobile journalism (MoJo) was held at Rajshahi University (RU) yesterday.

The workshop titled “Mobile Journalism: The Future of Journalism,” was organised by Department of Mass Communication and Journalism in association with DW Akademie, at RU Deans Complex.

Yusuf Omar and Andy Burgess, widely popular across the world for MoJo, conducted the workshop, while Jamil Khan, a MoJo specialist from bangla daily Prothom Alo also spoke at the programme.

Around 150 students of the department joined the workshop.

Chairman of the department Al Mamun, Prof Khademul Islam, Associate Prof Mashihur Rahman, and advisor of DW Lutfa Ahmed were present at the programme.
