Two held with 40,000 yaba

Rapid Action Battalion yesterday arrested two people with 40,000 yaba in Shikalbaha of Chattogram.

The arrestees are Md Ramin and Md Khorshed Alam, said Rab sources.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Tarek Aziz said a Rab-7 team set up a check-post on Chattogram-Cox’s Bazar Highway and detained the two. Searching their motorbike, law enforcers found the pills in a box, said the ASP.

In primary interrogation, the arrestees said they collected those from Cox’s Bazar and were going to Chattogram to deliver those.

They were handed over to Karnaphuli Police Station.
