Three Ctg houses gutted in fire

Fire gutted three tin-roofed houses in Kanungopara area of Boalkhali upazila in Chittagong yesterday.
The fire, originating from an electric short circuit in one of the houses around 12:30am, soon spread to the other houses, said Fire Service sources.
Fire fighters from Kalurghat Fire Station doused the blaze around 3:10am and estimated the damage caused by it at Tk 2 lakh, they added.
