Salauddin Al Wadud, the spokesperson of the committee formed to probe the capsize, confirmed the matter and said the body was handed over to family members.

The two boats were carrying 38 passengers when the incident occurred on Padma river in Rajshahi city's Sreerampur area.

Divers of navy, BIWTA, and Rajshahi Fire Service and Civil Defence have been conducting the rescue operation.

Overloading and bad weather are to blame for the accident, according to the investigation committee.
