Man arrested with 5,870 yaba tablets

Rab arrested a man in a bus with 5,870 yaba tablets in Chattogram city’s Colonel Hat area early yesterday.

The arrestee was identified as Parvez Hossain, 31, says a press release from Rab-7.

The arrest and seizure were made after a Rab team, on information, intercepted the Dhaka-bound bus of Saint Martin Paribahan from Cox’s Bazar.

Rab also seized the vehicle. The arrestee confessed to yaba peddling in guise of a supervisor of the bus, the release adds.
