President Md Abdul Hamid has reappointed  Justice Hasan Foez Siddique, a sitting judge of the Appellate Division, as the chairman of Bangladesh Judicial Service Commission (BJSC). The law ministry issued a gazette to this effect on Sunday.

The BJSC is tasked with selecting candidates for the posts of lower court judges through holding necessary tastes and examinations.    

Hasan Foez Siddique was appointed BJSC chairman first on April 30, 2015.
