Francophonie festival begins today

Francophonie Festival 2016 begins in Dhaka and Chittagong today amid festivity.

Every year, one month after 'Ekushey February', the Francophone community celebrates it to promote the use of the French language as well as cultural and linguistic diversity.

The Francophone diplomatic missions in Bangladesh with Alliances françaises, in Dhaka and Chittagong, will celebrate the week-long festival with various programmes.
