EU envoy visits Ferdous Biotech Ltd

Pierre Mayaudon, ambassador of the European Union to Bangladesh, visited the laboratory and headquarters of Ferdous Biotech Pvt Ltd in Gazipur yesterday, said a press release. 

He saw firsthand the development of virus free potato seeds, orchids and other agricultural products through tissue culture technology.

He also discussed the importance of agriculture in Bangladesh's journey towards achieving sustainable development.

Dr Ferdousi Begum, managing director, and Farzeen Ferdous Alam, chairman of Ferdous Biotech, and representative from the Gazipur District authority were present.
