Art competition for special children
An event was held on February 26 at Gallery Chitrak in Dhanmondi, Dhaka where financial grants were handed to multiple organisations working for children with special needs in Bangladesh; with this, Berger Paints Bangladesh Limited continues to extend its support. A programme was held to award the winners of an art competition for the children and an exhibition of the participating artworks was also inaugurated on the occasion, according to a press release.
SEID Trust, Autism Welfare Foundation, Society for Welfare of Autistic Children, Scholars Special School, Proyash Bisheshayito Shikkha Protisthan, Alokito Shishu, Tauri Foundation-School for Gifted Children and Community Development Center are among the organisations that received grants from Berger Paints.
The annual competition provided awards to six winners in two groups: Group A (6-10 years) and Group B (11-15 years).
Rupali Chowdhury, managing director of Berger Paints, handed over the crests and Mohsin Habib Chowdhury, senior general manager, sales and marketing, awarded the prize money and certificates to winners of the art competition. The winners are: Rupkotha (1st), Adrita Shaha (2nd), Sreyash (3rd) in Group A; and Anuska Sneha (1st), Hasin Mahmud Dhrubo (2nd), Md. Samir (3rd) in Group B.
An exhibition, displaying all 113 participating paintings, was inaugurated by Rupali Chowdhury. It will end today.
