Monno laid to rest

Harunur Rashid Khan Monno, an industrialist, adviser of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia and former minister, was buried at his family graveyard at Monno City of Manikganj Sadar upazila yesterday.

Earlier, his namaz-e-janazas were held at BNP's Paltan central office, National Parliament South Plaza, at Islampur of Dhaka, at Kalu Shah Degree College in Saturia upazila, Government Devendra College in Manikganj, at Patgram Anathbondhu Government High School in Harirampur upazila and Monno City.

BNP's central and local leaders and activists took part in the namaz-e-janazas. Monno, chairman of Monno Group of Industries, died on Monday, aged 84.
