JP leader hacked in Rangpur

Unidentified miscreants hacked a Jatiya Party leader in Rangpur city's Munshipara yesterday.

In a critical condition, SM Yasir, 45, son of late SM Yousuf of the city's Jummapara and member secretary of the city unit of JP, was admitted to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.

Mostafizur Rahman Mostafa, convener of the city unit of JP, told The Daily Star that he was attacked while he was returning home from Munshipara graveyard riding his motorcycle.
