IGP leaves for US to join IACP confce

Inspector General of Police AKM Shahidul Hoque left Dhaka for the USA yesterday to attend the 123rd annual conference of International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).

He will return on October 20, said a police headquarters press release.

The conference to be held at San Diago Convention Centre in California will be participated by the chief of police and high officials of different member countries and representatives of different international organisations. The four-day conference begins today.
