Iftekhar new treasurer of IUB

Khandker Md Iftekhar Haider has been appointed as the treasurer of Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) for a four-year term.

Before his retirement from the government service, he worked as the secretary to the Ministry of Expatriates Welfare and Overseas Employment, said a press release.

He joined the civil service of Bangladesh in 1983 as a member of BCS administrative cadre and held important positions both in secretariat and field administration.
