Girl threatened with stripping video

In an attempt to end her life after three stalkers stripped her naked and took video footage of it, an SSC examinee has taken poison in Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj.

Lying on a hospital bed, she narrated the incident to reporters.

She said she was studying for the exam sitting on the corridor of her house Sunday night when her parents were asleep.

As she was going to the washroom away from the house, the stalkers swooped on her, gagged and took her to the washroom.

The trio stripped her naked, took video footage and threatened to upload it on the social media if she disclosed the incident, she said.

The girl is now undergoing treatment at a local hospital. She claimed one of the miscreants used to harass her regularly.

The three take drugs and harass women and girls of the village, said a villager.

"My daughter couldn't appear at the SSC examination. The stalkers threatened to kill us if we disclose the matter. I'm afraid to file a case," said her father.

OC M Mustafizur Rahman of Kotalipara Police Station said they will take action against the miscreants once the family lodges a case.
