Four loaders jailed for stealing US$ 4,000 at Dhaka airport

A mobile court yesterday jailed four loaders for one year each for stealing US$ 4,000 from a passenger's luggage at the capital's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

The court also fined Rabiul Islam, Ataur Rahman, Monirul Islam, and Masud Hossain Tk 5,000 each.

Earlier, Armed Police Battalion at the airport handed them over to the mobile court, led by Executive Magistrate Mohammad Yousuf, said APBn Senior Assistant Superintendent Alamgir Hossain Shimul.
