Former JU teacher dies as train runs him over in capital

A retired professor of Jahangirnagar University died as a train ran him over at Wireless Gate in capital's Moghbazar yesterday. 

The deceased Mohiuddin Mollah, 65, a professor of Physics, was a resident of Paribagh area.

For having hearing problem, he could not sense the train was coming from his behind while he was walking on the rail track, said his youngest son Ashfiq Rezwan.

Family members took the body without postmortem, police said.
