Fake band roll of Tk 1cr seized

A mobile court of the Rangpur District Administration seized fake band roll (used for evading taxes on bidi) of Tk 1 crore in Banupara village under Haragachh upazila in the district on Wednesday afternoon.

The court led by Liton Sarker, additional district magistrate, also fined Fazlul Haque of Banupara village Tk 1 lakh for possessing the fake band roll produced in the upazila. The court realised the fine money. Rab-13 members and police assisted the drive.
