Jatiya Party Chairman Hussein Muhammad Ershad yesterday urged the party leaders and workers for strengthening the organisation to lead it to power.

Ershad said he would like to see his party in power once again to serve the people till the last day of his life.

"So we need to be organised at the grassroots level in the country to reach our goal," he told a programme in the auditorium of the Institutes of Engineers, Bangladesh in the capital on the occasion of JP's 32nd founding anniversary.

In her speech, Senior  Co-Chairman and Opposition Leader in Parliament Raushan Ershad called upon party leaders and workers to highlight the successes of the past Ershad-led government.
