Electrocution kills Gazipur woman

A woman died from electrocution in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur early yesterday.

Deceased Shefali Khatun,32, was the wife rickshaw-van puller Tamij Uddin of Tepirbari village  in the upazila.

Shefali died when she came in contact with a snapped electric wire of a poultry farm in the area, said Mostafa Kamal, officer-in-charge (OC) of Sreepur police.

 The body was sent to Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital for an autopsy.
