Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall Alumni Association of Dhaka University will arrange a memorial discussion tomorrow to commemorate the life and works of linguist Dr Muhammad Shahidullah.

The discussion will be held at Dr Muhammad Shahidullah Hall at 4:00pm, marking his 132nd birth and 48th death anniversary, said a press release.

Dhaka University Vice Chancellor AAMS Arefin Siddique will be present as the chief guest while Bangla Academy Director General Prof Shamsuzzaman will attend the discussion as the keynote speaker. Besides, a wreath will be laid at his grave today. Dr Shahidullah was born on July 10, 1885 and died on July 13, 1969.
