Demand for Sust VC's removal on

A section of teachers at the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) yesterday staged a sit-in in front of the administrative building, reiterating their demand for removal of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Md Aminul Haque Bhuyan.

The protesters of "Mahan Muktijuddher Chetonai Udbuddho Shikhok Brindo" accused the VC of misbehaviour with colleagues, corruption, and nepotism.

They first raised the demand in mid-April. After a two-month leave, the VC is to join office on Wednesday.
