Death anniversary

Today is the 22nd death anniversary of AZ Syed Ahmed Chowdhury, a former politician and social worker of Feni.

A doa mahfil will be held in Feni town and the district's Sonagazi, says a press release.

On this day in1993, he died at Dhaka's Holy Family Red Crescent Hospital, aged 79.

He left behind his wife, four daughters and three sons.

A lifetime member of Feni Sports Association, Ahmed also contributed to education and culture in the district.
