Ctg DC orders schools to refund extra fees charged for SSC exams

Authority yesterday directed all secondary schools in Chittagong to refund the extra fees charged for the registration of SSC exams 2016 in seven days, or else, it would go for stern actions.

Chittagong Deputy Commissioner Mesbah Uddin issued the order in a meeting at DC office amid the presence of 150 head teachers of different schools.

The instruction came after verifying the allegations that students were being charged four to five times of the fees fixed by Chittagong Education Board for their SSC registration form fill-up.

However, a number of head teachers claimed that they just followed the instruction of their respective managing committees.
