A construction worker dies after falling from an under-construction building in Badda area of Dhaka this morning.

A construction worker died after falling from an under-construction building in Badda area of Dhaka this morning.

The victim is Mohammad Rafiq, 28, son of Majibar Rahman, hailing from Laksam upazila in Comilla district.

Rafiq fell down from a six-storey building on road No. 11 in DIT Project area while he was working there around 5:45am, said MA Jalil, officer-in-charge of Badda Police Station.

Critically injured Rafiq was whisked off to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) where he succumbed at about 7:00am, the OC added.
