Construction worker dies after falling from building; Another got injured

A construction worker died and another got injured after they fell from the 7th floor of an under-construction building at North Badda in the capital yesterday around 11:00am.

Badda police said Khairul Islam, 21, and Ekramul fell down while they were working on a 9-storey building in North Badda area.

They were rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where attending doctors declared Khairul dead.

Ekramul was undergoing treatment at the hospital.
