3 trafficked boys return home
Three teenage Bangladeshi boys, who were trafficked to India at different times, returned home yesterday.
Rafiquzzaman, officer-in-charge of Hili Immigration, received the boys from his Indian counterpart in Dinajpur's Hakimpur upazila and handed them over to their parents.
Badal Mia, 12, of Dinajpur, Mahbur Rahman, 15, of Shariatpur, and Parimal Chandra Paul, 17, of Bogra, were detained by Indian Border Security Force at different borders some three years ago and later they were sent to a shelter home at Balurgat of Dakkhin Dinajpur.
Bangladesh National Women Lawyers Association, and Justice and Care, India, worked together to send the three to their parents.
