2 workers killed as building collapses in Dhaka

Two workers were killed and another was injured as a portion of a building collapsed at Kalachandpur in Dhaka’s Gulshan area this afternoon.

The identity of the deceased could not be ascertained immediately.

The victims were demolishing the building around 12:45pm when a part of the building collapsed, leaving the duo dead on the spot, Rafiqul Islam, assistant commissioner of police (Gulshan zone), told The Daily Star.
