2 held with firearms in Noakhali

Police arrested two persons with firearms and sharp weapons at Padipara Bazar in Sonaimuri upazila of Noakhali early yesterday.
On information, police arrested Md Delwar Hossain, of Begumganj upazila, organising secretary of Jubo League's Amanullahpur union's ward no-3 unit, and Tajul Islam, of Sonaimuri upazila, and recovered a revolver, three light guns, a pipe gun and nine machetes.
The two are accused in many cases including robbery. A case was filed.
