2 DB officers closed for 'taking bribe'

Two officials of detective branch of Barisal Metropolitan Police (BMP) were closed on Wednesday night for allegedly taking bribe.

SM Ruhul Amin, commissioner BMP, said Sub-Inspector Shamim and Sub-Inspector Mahmud have been closed on the allegation that they took Tk 25,000 as bribe from a businessman after taking him hostage.
