Prime Bank offers placement and internship opportunities to UCB students

Students of Universal College Bangladesh (UCB) will be provided with placement and internship opportunities at Prime Bank PLC under a certain arrangement.

UCB and Prime Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday for creating new opportunities for UCB graduates to launch their professional careers.

Under this agreement, the students will further benefit from training sessions, knowledge-sharing programmes, guest lectures, career guidance, and mentorship to support and fast track their professional development.

"Besides ensuring world-class educational opportunities, at UCB, we are equipping students with scopes for practical experiences that enhance their academic achievements, and give them a realistic idea of the market and its demands," said the CEO of STS Group, Manas Singh.

Prime Bank Deputy Managing Director Nazeem A Choudhury appreciated UCB for coming up with such plans for industry-academia collaboration. He said, "We look forward to supporting the career growth of UCB students through providing hands-on learning and mentorship."
