Venturas and UIU signs MoU to host robotic contest

On 28 Febrary 2018, Ms.YORIKO UEDA, Founder and CEO of VENTURAS LTD signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mr. Chowdhury Mofizur Rahman, Vice Chancellor of UNITED INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY (UIU) in the theme of organizing the 1st ever Robotics Contest for College level students in Bangladesh.

VENTURAS LTD, being a Japanese EdTech (Education Technology) company is going to organize the 1st ever Robotics Event for college students on 21st and 22nd March 2018 which expects 1,000 college students participation from 15 different colleges in Dhaka. This event is officially supported by Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).

To correspond with the Bangladeshi National Statement "Manifesto to create IT Nation”, college students are more to be required to experience and develop IT and science related ability.VENTURAS LTD. believes that this competition teaches college students' core engineering concepts, problem solving skills and leadership principles which are linked directly to growing the number of students who pursue careers in engineering and computer science.

Responding to this concept, UNITED INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY is fully supporting this contest as a Main Sponsor.The Founder and CEO, Ms. YORIKO UEDA, said: “We are delighted to sign this memorandum which will enable the VENTURAS LTD and UIU to deepen their cooperation on issues of conducting such a big event successfully, to improve experience of value and opportunities to the college students.”

 It is anticipated that cooperation will focus on several areas including Venue, providing experimental classes of ICT, conducting Coding workshops, career seminars, and preparing professionals to run the workshops.
