House of Butterfly launches premium side-by-side LG refrigerators in Bangladesh

House of Butterfly, a leading consumer electronics supplier in Bangladesh, has launched three new premium side-by-side refrigerators from LG, the South Korean technology brand.
The product unveiling took place at the company's Gulshan-2 showroom in Dhaka on May 19.
The event was inaugurated by A. S. M. Muntasir Chowdhury, head of product at House of Butterfly, and Gerald Chun, managing director of LG Bangladesh.
The launch is part of the ongoing Eid campaign, "Ghor Shajbe Eid Utshobe," and introduces the new refrigerator lineup to the domestic market.
The range includes LG's InstaView Door-in-Door model alongside two additional side-by-side variants. The InstaView model features a panel that allows users to view the interior by knocking twice, reducing cold air loss by up to 41%. LG's Linear Cooling™ technology helps preserve fruits and vegetables for up to seven days, while Door Cooling+™ accelerates cooling performance by 35% compared to conventional systems. The Hygiene Fresh+™ filter reduces bacteria activity by 99.99%, and built-in Wi-Fi enables users to monitor the appliance remotely through the LG ThinQ app.
Muntasir Chowdhury said customer response to the pre-booking campaign has been strong. Customers will soon find the refrigerators available in showrooms, with promotional offers including up to 100% cashback and an exchange programme.
Gerald Chun stated that the partnership between LG Bangladesh and House of Butterfly aims to enhance the availability of modern, smart home appliances in the country.
Among those present were Muhammad Sazzad Mahmud, Bipul Kumar Das, Md. Shariful Islam, and other senior officials from Butterfly Group. LG Bangladesh was represented by Han Changho, Ashiqul Islam, Kazi Faisal Al Ahsan, Monowar Hussain, and senior executives. The first two customers to pre-book the new lineup were also in attendance.
