BUP BCC launched the third iteration of Biz Quest 2022

On November 10, 2022, BUP Business & Communication Club (BUP BCC) launched the third iteration of its highly acclaimed inter-university business seminar, Biz Quest 2022. The theme of the workshop was to equip students with invaluable takeaways of prominent industry maestros from BCC Alumni through two insightful episodes. Initially scheduled to take place on October 29th, Saturday at BUP Bijoy Auditorium, the event was postponed due to the widespread issue of power shortage and later carried out completely online to adapt to the current scenario.

The first episode of Biz Quest 2022 was titled "Solve the Unsolvable" and was held on November 10th, Thursday at 8 PM. In this knowledge and skills-development session, the astute mind of BCC Alumni, Mazbahul Islam, Program Manager at YY Ventures, enlightened students about the intricacies of business competitions. The active engagement of 203 participants made the episode a phenomenal success as they quizzed our expert speaker on issues like how competitions influence their career prospects and the most in-demand soft skills required to excel in their desired industries.

The second episode of Biz Quest 2022, titled "Tested & Tailored," aired on November 12th, Saturday at 11 AM. The chief speaker, Mohammad Jahidur Rahman, Country Manager at Tex-Ebo International Pte. Ltd., presided over the session to help students navigate the changing dynamics and contemporary hiring trends of the business landscape. Although significantly lower than the previous session's engagement rate, the second session sparked the interest of 111 participants and incentivized them to seek answers about how to upskill themselves, gain access to their targeted fields, write a minimalist resume, and so on.

Biz Quest 2022 distinguished itself as an unprecedented venture by donating its accumulated fees to "এক টাকায় আহার-1 Taka Meal," a charity program successfully run by the Bidyanondo Foundation. The response from the enthusiasts and the cooperation of its partners catapulted the event to greater heights.
