The National Board of Revenue will keep its tax offices open during the ongoing countrywide restrictions on movement.
The tax administrator shared the information through a notice today.
All the departments/organisations related to revenue collection have been brought under the purview of the emergency services, the notice read.
The officials concerned were requested to keep the tax offices open and conduct regular activities following proper hygiene norms for the sake of revenue collection and providing services to the taxpayers, it said.
The notice was issued when the cabinet division extended the movement ban on May 16 midnight for another seven days.
