Mir Akhter Hossain Ltd’s profit rises 12%

Leading construction company Mir Akhter Hossain Ltd's profit rose 12 percent year-on-year to Tk 39.75 crore in the last financial year.

The company's consolidated earnings per share hit Tk 3.31 for the year ended on June 30 this year, up from Tk 2.93 in the previous year.

In the period, its consolidated net asset value per share also rose slightly to Tk 49.81 from last year's Tk 47.68.

At the same time, the construction firm's net operating cash flow per share rose 19.67 percent year-on-year to Tk 14.05 for the year ended on June 30, 2023.

The Board of Directors of the company recommended 12.5 percent cash dividend for the year ended June 30, 2023, the company said in a posting on the website of the Dhaka Stock Exchange.

Shares of the construction company closed unchanged at Tk 50.8 today.
