Govt to set up sanitation data command centre

The government is set to establish a sanitation data command centre to ensure healthy and sustainable sanitation nationwide.
The Department of Public Health Engineering will develop the centre, which aims to create an integrated and automated data ecosystem driven by information and data, expediting data-based policy formulation and plan implementation across city corporations, municipal areas, and various establishments in the country.

The workshop, a collaborative initiative by the Department of Public Health Engineering and Aspire to Innovate-A2I, witnessed active participation from an array of public and private stakeholders, according to a statement.
Prime Minister's Principal Coordinator for SDG Affairs Md Akhter Hossain, Secretary for Coordination and Reforms at Cabinet Division Md Mahmudul Hossain Khan and A2I Project Director Md Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan spoke at the event.
