Aman Cement launches second VRM

Aman Cement has launched its second Vertical Roller Mill (VRM), the most advanced technology in cement production, recently through a ceremony in Dhaka.

Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan and Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi were present as chief guest and special guest respectively on the occasion where more than 500 dealers, corporate customers and well-wishers of Aman Cement took part.

The event was organised with the slogan titled "Build the country on the path of infinite possibilities every day".

In the opening speech of the programme, Syed Abu Abed Saher, chief executive officer of Aman Cement, said that by increasing the production capacity of another 5,000 tons per day, AmanCem Unit-2 is now on its full capacity with 10,000 tonnes or two lakh bags production capacity per day and going to enter a new golden era.

In his speech, Asaduzzaman Khan said the industry should be taken forward to advance the country. "The country is moving forward under the leadership of the government. The government is changing the country. The government is now moving towards Smart Bangladesh. Best wishes for Aman Cement's new venture," he said.

Aman Group Chairman Rafiqul Islam said Aman Group had been dedicated to the people and the country's development since its inception in 1984.

Aman Group is constantly working through relentless efforts in various branches of trade including food, clothing and accommodation to earn foreign exchange and fulfil, the basic needs of people through the employment of more than 17 thousand people, he said.

In continuation of this, AmanCem will be able to play a major role in meeting the growing demand of the country's cement market by increasing the capacity through two VRMs of German technology, Islam said.
