Stocks rise for second day
Stocks in Bangladesh rose for the second consecutive day today.
The DSEX, the benchmark index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), gained 15 points, or 0.24 per cent, to 6,292 at 11:30 am.
Turnover, an important indicator of the market, stood at Tk 291 crore.
Of the securities, 70 advanced, 98 declined and 214 did not show any price movement.
The Caspi, the all-share price index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange, added 29 points, or 0.15 per cent, to 18,569.
Of the issues, 25 rose, 24 retreated and 41 did not see any price swing.
