Resume public transport from tomorrow: Bus-Truck Owners' Association urges govt

Bangladesh Bus-Truck Owners' Association today urged the government to resume public transport from tomorrow, considering the plight of transport owners and workers.

They also demanded allocation of Tk 5,000 crore as special incentive, at low interest rate, for public transport owners.

Romesh Chandra Ghosh, chairman of the association, made the demands at a press conference at its Gabtoli office this morning.
