Teacher held for 'spreading rumour'
Police yesterday arrested Nusrat Jahan Sonia, 26, an assistant teacher of Dokkhin Tiakhalai Government Primary School, at her home in Kalapara area of Patuakhali for allegedly “spreading rumour” on Facebook about the student protests.
Ali Ahmed, officer-in-charge of Kalapara Police Station, said police filed a case under the ICT Act accusing her.
